"It’s been so wonderful to be here watching the various changes with snow and storms, etc. Not wanting to leave on Saturday. My 3 wk stay was extremely helpful and constructive in getting work done away from the city and holiday distraction.

"Back to teaching soon. Loved the poetry trail - I don’t recall walking 14 years ago!"

Winter Shakers at the Colony

Time to come in from the cold. Make art. See a moose. Tromp the snowy pastures and raid the library. Writers, composers, visual artists visit for one to three weeks. Nothing like a winter bonfire to shift the paradigm of the possible. Stay tuned for reports from the field...

Holiday Party Report






Oh my! Can you say packed? Complete with the requisite bed-top coat art, plentiful platters, smokers braving the ccccold, and much cheery chatter, the party was a full on blast.
